Workflow automation and software integrations
Connect the steps between your existing systems so useful information moves with the work. Tailored integrations and approval flows can reduce repeated tasks while keeping exceptions visible to the people responsible.
Enter a record once, then use it where it belongs
Repeated copying creates extra work and competing versions. An agreed connection can pass selected information between systems while retaining the source record, a transfer history and a clear route for correcting problems.
- Approved API connections between existing business tools.
- Approval flows with explicit owners and decision points.
- Scheduled reports and controlled data exports.
- Data migration with mapping and validation.
- Exception handling, alerts and reviewable retry states.
Keep one source client record
A colleague creates a client record in the agreed source system. After the required approval, selected fields are shared with authorised connected tools. If a field fails validation, the transfer pauses for review. The original record and the transfer result remain visible.
Extend an existing tool when that is the better fit
A new platform is not always necessary. Configuring an existing product, adding a small integration or improving one approval step may solve the problem. Discovery compares those options against the workflow, permissions and ongoing maintenance needed.
Questions to bring to discovery
- Which systems should exchange information, and which owns each record?
- What triggers a transfer or approval?
- Which users and providers can grant the required access?
- How quickly does the information need to update?
- Who reviews errors, duplicate records and uncertain transfer results?
Agree the limits of each connection
Provider access, authentication, API limits, subscription features and changing external services affect integration scope. Some tools offer only exports or limited access. We establish these constraints before committing and plan how expired permissions or unavailable services should be handled. For invoice-specific approvals, see accounting automation.
